Individual Living was founded with the desire to provide a unique offering within the luxury furniture sector. With a background in the steel fabrication industry, a British heritage and a highly skilled workforce, IL provides a distinctive proposition in the marketplace. This is achieved through offering a bespoke product from start to the finish should the customer so choose, and a design range that looks equally at home in both modern and traditional settings.
All our pieces are designed and fabricated in house at our workshop in Cheshire where each piece is handcrafted following our meticulous manufacturing process. The steel is cut, shaped, welded and sanded down until the desired aesthetic is achieved, only once this has been attained, does the piece move on to be finished in our pallet of exclusive colours. All of which are available on every piece we make. Our craftsmanship is complete upon application of one of our various elegant table tops or luxurious fabrics, to then arrive at the customer’s desired finished look. Delivery and installation into the client’s home or office is the final element of the IL offering, leaving them to enjoy their new statement piece of furniture.
As part of our unique offering, we also extend to all of our clients a bespoke tailoring service. Should you want to finish your piece with a personal touch, or differentiate it from the norm, we can commission those requests. Customisable elements include, the colour or finish of the piece, type of stone or fabric used, engraving of the metalwork, embroidered stitching and altering of the dimensions to suit a certain space.
